WASHINGTON, DC – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Carjacking Task Force have announced that a further arrest has been made and further suspects are being sought in connection with an offense of Robbery and theft (stolen car) that took place on Wednesday, August 25. 2021 in 3900 block of Dix Street, northeast.
Around 10.47pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and forcibly took over the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s car.
Earlier Tuesday, September 7, 2021 a 17-year-old young man, and Wednesday, September 22, 2021 another 17-year-old young man, both in Southeast, DC were arrested and charged Robbery and Theft One (stolen car).
Thursday, October 7, 2021 a 16-year-old young man, in Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Robbery.
The remaining suspects were captured by a surveillance camera.
