Unless you’ve been living under a giant Morph Ball shaped rock for the last few months, you’re probably aware that Metroid Dread has launched for the Nintendo Switch today. It’s absolutely amazing and you should definitely go and play it.

Before doing so, however, we thought you’d like to check out this particular artwork from the team at Bethesda. The studio has congratulated Nintendo on the launch of the new Metroid it Social Media, who shares a cracking work of art with Doom Slayer, replacing Samus as the box art star.

Of course, Doomguy now has even greater reason to be associated with Nintendo’s own big guns after being revealed as a Mii Fighter costume for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate earlier in the week. Fighting between DOOM’s main character and Metroid’s Samus will soon be a real possibility – what a crazy world, huh ‘?
