The LA City Attorney’s Office refused to proceed with charges due to insufficient evidence against the singer.

Chris Browns the battery box is now dust in the wind as the LA City Attorney’s Office has refused to charge the struggling singer.

Last June, police responded to a disturbance in the singer’s home in which an unidentified woman claimed Brown hit her hard during an argument early in the morning. According to TMZ, slapped “made part of her weave come out.”

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office refused to proceed with charges due to insufficient evidence, per TMZ.

An article from 2016 in Rolling stones described the troubled pop star’s long history of domestic violence. Brown violently assaulted then girlfriend Rihanna the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards and left the singer covered in bruises. Brown has since been charged with several incidents in the home: In 2017, Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran obtained a ban on him. He has also been charged with violence against two other women and a sexual assault in Paris for which he was never charged.

That Rolling stones the article detailed five other violent incidents involving the artist, including his reaction to questioning during an interview with Robin Roberts on Good morning America, when he stormed off the set and broke a pane in his locker room.

Singer Lizzo got great heat recently for calling Brown her “favorite person” in the world in a video clip. Singer “Rumors” approached Brown backstage Friday night after he surprised fans on the Millennium Tour in Los Angeles. She asked for a photo that said, “Can I have a picture with you? Because you’re my favorite person in the whole world. “Brown took a picture with Lizzo, as well as another with his friends.

Social media users were quick to call Lizzo and remind her of Brown’s story of violence against women. One tweeted, “Lizzo has worked with and promoted nutritionists and educators whose sole purpose is weight loss. Now she asked for a photo with CHRIS BROWN and said he was her favorite person in the world ?? A serial addict and stalker? I really can not ignore this pattern, it’s bad. ”

The battery case is not Brown’s only recent brush with the courts. He and rapper Drake was named in a copyright lawsuit over their 2019 issue of “No Guidance.” As reported by TMZ, singer Brandon Cooper and manufacturer Timothy Valentine claims the duo freaked out their song “I Love Your Dress.”

Cooper and Valentine note that their lyrics “She got it; she got it, ”repeated 16 times on their song, while in“ No Guidance, ”the lyrics“ You got it, girl; you got it ”is repeated at least 11 times. As reported by All Hip Hop, the lawsuit also claims that Drake and Brown use the lyrics “flew coop” to mock Cooper, as “Coop” is the singer’s nickname.
