Forest Gate shooting: Three men ‘shot down at barbers’ and rushed to hospital

The men were found with gunshot wounds on Upton Lane in Forest Gate just before 7pm tonight after rescue services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene.

Forest Gate shooting: Three men were shot down

Three men have been shot dead last night in a triple attack in east London.

The men were found with gunshot wounds on Upton Lane in Forest Gate just before 7pm tonight.

They were rushed to the hospital and their condition is currently unknown.

The A114 Upton Lane in Forest Gate is closed in both directions and there is a traffic jam from Grosvenor Road to Whyteville Road.

A Section 60 stop and search order has been approved throughout the Newham borough until 3 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, October 9).

No arrests have been made so far.

The London Ambulance Service has released an update on the shooting.

They said: “We were called at 18:58 tonight (October 8) to Upton Lane, E7, to report that a number of people were injured.

“We sent a range of resources to the site: three ambulance crews, three doctors from our joint task force, a clinical team leader, an incident response officer and an advanced paramedic.

“We also sent teams from the London Air Ambulance.







“We treated three people on the spot and took all three to a major trauma center.”

Police are asking witnesses to get in touch by calling 101 with citation of CAD 6941 / 08Oct.

A section 60 has been approved for the Newham borough.

It is valid until 3pm on Saturdays and gives officers increased stop and search powers to prevent further violence.
