Despite the Ottawa teacher’s explanations and refusals, Green, 56, was convicted Oct. 4 of sex crimes against a 14-year-old girl. He is awaiting punishment for two counts of sexual assault and sexual assault.

Green was the teacher known for standing too close, the one who addressed girls in the class as “darling, beautiful and beautiful.”

The court heard he held aftermaths to help only a vulnerable girl insult her. The girl testified that she felt “sneaking”.

In her police interview, the detective asked the victim how she was feeling when Green started touching her thighs.

“(I felt) very, very uncomfortable. I was a little… I was frozen when he put his hand on my thigh and I felt my heart beating out of my chest and I… and I wanted to say something but I just could not. I do not know. I felt like this overwhelming sense of panic and I just … like a deer in the headlights and I was standing there and when I felt him as slowly on my thigh and I felt offended and disgusted, ”she said.

This newspaper does not name the school the girl went to or the year of the sex crimes to protect the victim’s identity.

Green told his young victim to keep their relationship a secret because no one would understand it.

The Ottawa teacher took a stand on his own defense, but his testimony was filled with inconsistencies.

The sex predator admitted that he ordered his victim to keep their “offspring” secret.

Green testified that he told the girl, “Do not tell anyone what we are doing. They do not understand what we are doing. ”

He also testified that he told the girl: “You can not tell anyone about us. They do not understand our relationship, how close we are. ”

Ontario Superior Court Justice Sally Gomery rejected the teacher’s explanations.

“His words imply that he acknowledged that he had done something inappropriate,” the judge ruled.
