Ottawa police said Thursday night they had charged three people in connection with a Sandy Hill street party that followed the Oct. 2 football game between the Carleton Ravens and the Ottawa Gee-Gees, a local tradition known as the Panda Game.

The festivities came together near a house on Russell Avenue, a few minutes’ walk from the University of Ottawa’s main campus. Hundreds of parties showed up, some of whom engaged in vandalism, at one point overturned and tried to remove a parked vehicle.
On Thursday, police said they had charged two 20-year-old men from Ottawa and a 22-year-old man from Haliburton, Ont., With a count each accidentally over $ 5,000 and attended an illegal assembly. Their names were not made public.
Earlier this week, the Ottawa Police Service had requested public assistance in identifying 10 people captured on photographs, and police said Thursday that all 10 had been identified.
Police also released a further 18 photos and also asked the public to help identify these individuals.
The investigation continued as police reviewed video obtained through their own surveillance and via social media.
Police are trying to identify several individuals
The Ottawa Police Service again on Thursday released a series of photos of people it is trying to identify in relation to the events in Sandy Hill last Saturday night.
Police asked anyone who could help identify anyone in the photos to contact police at 613-236-1212, ext. 5166.
Anyone with information or pictures of criminal acts was also asked to contact the police.
