Shortly before 7:30 p.m., a man woke up with a sharp object on the set of the ABC show A Million Little Things, filming near Main and Alexander streets.

VPD spokeswoman, const. Tania Visintin said officers working on the set were warned by the film crew that there was a man with a knife.

Officers found the man in a nearby lane waving a sharpened stick in the air. Witnesses said police pulled pistols and ordered the man down to the ground.

Visintin said that because the man acted “aggressively” towards people with the stick, he was arrested and jailed for a few hours as a breach of the peace. He was later released.

No one was injured in the incident.
