A man was cycling along Henry Hudson Parkway when he was hit by a car and killed, according to police.

The unidentified cyclist was heading south on the highway sometime late Wednesday or early Thursday morning when he was hit by a southbound Lexus driven by Cho Young, a 73-year-old from New Jersey, on 104th Street. The cyclist was driven to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Young remained at the scene “with no apparent crime regarding the collision,” police said. However, he was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license. NYPD Highway Collision Investigation Squad investigates.
