A woman threw boiling water at a deaf man and stabbed him in the chest during a fight in Brooklyn, police said early Thursday when they released surveillance footage of the sick crime.

The 41-year-old victim was sitting outside on Humboldt Street near Boerum Street in Williamsburg around noon. 6pm on Sept. 2 when a woman started arguing with him, police said.

She then punched a cup of boiling water in his face and stabbed him in the chest with an unspecified sharp object, police said.

The victim was taken to Woodhull Medical Center with stab wounds to the chest and burns to the face and chest, police said.

Authorities confirmed the victim was deaf but had no information on what led to the violence.

The suspect bolted after the attack.

Police released surveillance footage from the scene showing the suspect in dark clothing.
