The Edmonton Oilers will give players jockeying to the rosters another look Saturday night as they end the preseason away game against the Vancouver Canucks.

“There has been good competition throughout the camp. Everyone has done a decent job. There have been a few guys stepping above others. Now you begin to get into the rhythm of your lineup, the roles of the lineup. We may need another penalty killer compared to a guy who might be a more offensive guy, ”said head coach Dave Tippett.

“All six of the players who have competed in these sports are with us tonight. We’ll see how they do. ”

Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Darnell Nurse and Tyson Barrie will be sitting out. Mikko Koskinen and Stuart Skinner will share the game in goal.
