The exclusive member club Soho House is set to open its first northern venue in Manchester next year, it has been confirmed.

The luxury hotel chain is a firm favorite among celebrities and will occupy the top three floors of the former Granada TV studios.

Soho House has revealed that the place will open in 2022, but a launch date has not been confirmed yet – although previous reports have shown that it would open in the summer or fall of next year.

The membership club currently has locations in London and the south, Europe, North America and Asia, but this would be the first in the north of England.

For fans of the luxury chain in Manchester, it is already possible to have a membership of Cities Without Houses, designed for people who live in an area that does not yet have a Soho House, but still wants access to them.

This membership gives people access to a variety of benefits and events, including music evenings, fitness classes, workshops, talks and a book club.

These events are already taking place monthly in Manchester in the run-up to the club’s opening.

Details of what facilities will be available at Soho House Manchester have not been confirmed yet, but plans submitted to Manchester City Council included a roof terrace and pool.

Elsewhere, there are lounge areas, bars and dining rooms as well as areas for work and hosting events.

Members can expect artistically decorated interiors with luxurious furniture and eclectic art on display.

Membership for the clubs in London cost from £ 680 up to £ 1,800, but membership prices for Soho House Manchester have not yet been revealed.
