Drew Barrymore praised Dakota Johnson for her handling of the infamous interview in which she accused Ellen DeGeneres of lying.
In 2019, Johnson participated in an interview on Ellen where the presenter said she had not been invited to her 30th birthday.
Johnson, however, disputed the claim, saying DeGeneres had been invited using the now legendary line: “Actually no, that’s not the truth Ellen.”
See you on Drew Barrymore Show Thursday (October 7) Johnson was asked about his famous neighbors. That Fifty shades of gray star listed from Jimmy Kimmel and said the host late and his wife “hold a lot of parties and they do not invite me”.
In response, Barrymore said, “Is this real?” before adding: “Because people have gotten into trouble claiming [about] not being invited to your parties. ”
Johnson started laughing, while Barrymore said, “It was amazing, by the way. Just as amazing. “The actor was then cheered and applauded by the audience.
Many people cited Johnson’s original interview with DeGeneres as the beginning of the end Ellen DeGeneres Show, where the final season began last month.
The show’s cancellation followed an ongoing controversy over allegations of a toxic work environment behind the scenes of the show.
DeGeneres was also at the center of unconfirmed allegations about her behavior outside the camera, from allegations that she would demand that people not look her in the eye, to allegations that her real personality collided with her friendly person on camera.

After announcing that she intended to end her show, DeGeneres denied allegations of misconduct on her part. She also suggested that the setback against her in 2019 and 2020 was “orchestrated” and hated misogyny.
