A 21-year-old man was stabbed to death by a gang of men in an early attack in Manchester city center.
Peter Street was cordoned off by police after the attack around 3.30am this morning (Thursday).
Police said the victim, a 21-year-old man, was stabbed to death by a group of men at the scene.
He was taken to the hospital where he is still in stable condition.

Inquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made so far.
A barricade was in place on Peter Street, near the Impossible and Peaky Blinders bar, all morning.
Forensic officers were seen scouring the site and several police cars were stationed at the roadblock.
The road reopened around noon. 9.30, and all police have now left the street.
In a statement issued earlier this morning, a GMP spokesman said: “Police were called around 3.30am to Peter Street, Manchester for a report of a stabbing.
“Emergency services have participated, and investigations showed that a 21-year-old man had been stabbed by a group of men.
“He has been taken to hospital, where he is still in stable condition.
“Investigation is underway and no arrests have been made.
“A stage and roadblocks are currently in place.”
