COPS has launched a chase after a teenage boy was groped on a bus in London in broad daylight.
Met Police officers today released a picture of a man they urgently need to talk to after the attack in Ealing.
The victim was targeted when he boarded a Route 282 bus near the White Harte roundabout in Northolt just after 4pm on 12 August.
He had been waiting at a bus stop when a man started talking to him before following him to the upper deck.
On the journey to Ealing Hospital, the man came up with eerie comments about sex and touched the teenager.
Detective Inspector John Millward of the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command said the boy was left “shaken” but unharmed.
No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
“This was a scary experience for the young victim,” DI Millward said.
“Luckily he did not get any physical injuries, but he was understandably very shaken.
“We have made a number of inquiries to identify the man in the photo we are releasing today, and that work is underway.
“We believe that the public may be able to provide information that may be crucial.
“If anyone recognizes him, I would urge them to come forward either directly to the police or to the independent charity Crimestoppers.”
Anyone who can help officers by identifying the man in the picture should call the police on 101 indicating the reference 5822 / 13AUG.
Information can also be given to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
