The crash took place around 2pm near the intersection of Bank Street and Gilmour.
A pedestrian was in serious condition after she was hit by a car on Friday afternoon that jumped on a sidewalk and crashed into a building in Centretown.
The accident happened around 2pm near the corner of Bank and Gilmour streets.
Paramedics reported that a woman in her 50s was assessed, treated and transported to the Ottawa Trauma Center.
Her condition on arrival at the hospital was considered serious.
Bank Street was reopened to traffic shortly after 3 p.m.
Earlier Friday, police and paramedics also responded to a two-car collision on Bronson Avenue at First Avenue.
Paramedics said three patients — one man in his 20s and two women in their 70s — were assessed, treated and rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
