Police in search of a wanted man from East London have sent an urgent appeal to the public to help find him.

Redbridge police need help finding Balasankar Narayanan, who fled a care facility in Ilford on Thursday, October 7th.

The 35-year-old has connections across London, particularly Newham, Greenford, Hammersmith, Highgate and Ilford, according to police.

He is also known for having connections to areas in the West Midlands.

In the statement, Detective Inspector Sean Treweek said: “We have conducted extensive investigations to locate this man and these investigations are ongoing.

“Balasankar Narayanan can be violent – if you see him, do not approach him, but call the police immediately.”

He is described as a white male, 5ft9ins and of intermediate build.

Members of the public are advised not to approach him, but instead call the police immediately 999.
