Sam Frost breaks down when she reveals she has not been vaccinated against COVID-19 in a new video on her Instagram account

Actress Sam Frost has broken down in an emotional video in which she revealed that she remains unvaccinated against coronavirus.

That Home and away starlet shared the video for Instagram on Saturday, frankly about her mental health.

“I was really hesitant to make a video or even talk about that kind of thing, but I feel like it’s reaching a point now in the world where there’s a lot of separation,” Frost said.

“A lot of harsh judgments and opinions are being thrown around, and it’s definitely taking its toll on my mental health, and I know people around me are struggling – especially if they’re on the side they do not want to be vaccinated, for whatever reason.

“There are many different reasons why people are not vaccinated, and it may be because of their medical history, their concerns, they may have family history, it may be religious reasons.”

Frost then revealed that she has not been vaccinated, clarifying that there were a “few reasons” why she did not receive the plug.

“I have talked to my doctor and my psychologist about it and I want to keep it private,” she added.

“So I talked to a doctor and that’s my decision.”

Frost, who broke down in tears, added that it was especially difficult as she felt the judgment of others.

“It’s a really hard time being in society right now and you feel like you’re less of a human being and you feel like people are judging you,” she said.

“And you’re too scared to talk about your opinion or your feelings, and part of you wants to say, ‘It’s not your damn thing, why am I not! And there are good reasons why I am not, but I do not want you to judge me ‘.

“It’s just a really hard time.”

The actor said things will continue to be difficult when fully vaccinated residents of NSW are allowed to enjoy freedoms that unvaccinated do not want.

She stressed that she felt it was important at that time for unvaccinated people to take care of their mental health.

“It’s my biggest concern because I’m struggling a lot with my mental health and I like to think I’m pretty ready for it. I see a psychologist regularly. So I can not imagine what it is like for the people who do not have a support network around them, ”she said.

Frost said she wished managers and employers would show more support for unvaccinated people, adding that she felt “lonely.”

“I wish there were more people who made us feel less alone,” she said.

“I hope this separation disappears and that people treat each other like people with kindness and compassion and empathy.”

Frost’s video has been viewed more than 100,000 times, with followers branding the actor as “brave” for his comments.

“At the end of the day, it’s your body,” one person said.
