We’ve looked back at some of the pubs that have been lost over the years in The Guardian’s areas this summer.

After presenting some of the pubs that have pulled their last pint in Leyton, Leytonstone, Wanstead and Walthamstow, we complete our look at some of those that have closed in Chingford and Highams Park after showing six from the area last weekly edition.

The Lost Pubs Project records the decline of the English pub and using photos and information from its website www.closedpubs.co.uk this page shows four six pubs in the Chingford area that closed their doors for the last time in the past.
