ST. THOMAS, Ont. Provincial police say two people are dead after two pickup trucks collided in southwestern Ontario Saturday night.
The accident happened shortly before kl. 9pm in Elgin County, just east of St. Thomas, Ont.
Police say two pickups were driving north on Richmond Road when one of them entered a ditch and rolled several times, pushing the driver and passenger out.

Investigators say one person died on the spot, another succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, and a third person who had been in the car was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries. The driver of the second pickup was not injured.
The identity of the deceased is withheld pending notification of relatives.
Investigators say speed, alcohol and lack of seat belts are considered contributing factors, and they are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or have video of the incident to contact Elgin County OPP.
