Bisexual bachelorette Brooke Blurton reveals whether she found love in the new series or not – and says she has a ‘fantastic show’ waiting for viewers

As the latest season of The Bachelorette approaches, Brooke Blurton has answered the big question of everyone’s mind.

The 26-year-old enthusiastically confirmed that she had really found love in the series and was excited about what awaits.

‘Oh yes. Yes, I have, absolutely. I’m really, really lucky and I’m really excited about the show being aired and about my relationship, ‘the bisexual reality star told Stellar.

‘I honestly count down the days (until the show airs). I just want to be able to share with my family and friends about how happy I really am, ‘she said.

This is a third time that is the charm scenario for the youth worker who previously could not find love on Nick Cummins’ season of The Bachelor in 2018 and 2019’s Bachelor in Paradise.

Brooke’s season marks a milestone as she is both the first native bachelorette and the very first bisexual bachelorette – meaning both men and women will fight for her love.

She reflected on breaking down these boundaries and how she perceives herself in terms of representation.

‘I feel excited and grateful that I can show that representation. I have always just broken down barriers and stereotypes all my life. I feel like it’s just natural for me to do this. I’m pinching myself. ‘

Brooke says she does not like to use the word ‘journey’ when looking back on the path she has taken, preferring it to be a mix of ‘small gains’ but also ‘heartache’ and ‘some tragedy’. ‘.

After this year’s grim reviews of Jimmy Nicholson’s season of The Bachelor, Brooke says she’s not worried about her season.

The bachelorette explained that she did not want to ‘stress’ herself about that aspect of the program and was more interested in the viewers seeing her, her personality and a ‘great show’.

In an example of the upcoming season, Brooke says: ‘I’m just a girl trying to fall in love. But it’s not about gender, it’s always about connection.

‘A partner who is on the same team as me, that’s what I want’.

Viewers can then watch Brooke meet a villain of attractive men and women on the red carpet, including a brunette woman dressed in a white, figure-hugging dress.

Finally, Brooke is slowly seen dancing on the red carpet with a blonde woman wearing a red dress.

Uncontrollably blushing after the hungry dance, Brooke told the cameras. ‘I’m confused. Let’s just pack it up. We are done!’

Bachelorette Australia premieres at 19.30 on 20 October on 10.
