There is a lot of gossip about potential income, a rumor mill seems to extend his contract with his current club, and Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been criticized for his handling of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Keane agrees with Southgate as Sancho restores the faith
Jadon Sancho repaid Gareth Southgate’s faith after the United winger showed a glimpse of his former self in England’s win over Andorra on Saturday night.
The 21-year-old has struggled to find his feet at Old Trafford since moving from Borussia Dortmund to £ 72 million.
Despite his overwhelming views with United, however, Southgate reaffirmed his faith in the youngster by still calling Sancho up for the English squad.
The Three Lions chief spoke at the press conference after the squad about how Sancho was lucky to get a call, but said he would invest in the winger and Keane believes he is right in showing faith in him.
Speaking further ON TV before the match, Keane said: “It has certainly been a slow start for him, it is going well and well in Dortmund, but it is another animal that goes to Man United, high expectations.
“Maybe overshadowed a bit with Cristiano Ronaldo coming in, but I would always give the child a chance, he has been there a few months, a good opportunity for him [against Andorra], but give him a chance. ”
United lose to Phillips?
United have been linked with Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips recently, although negotiations to hold the English international at Elland Road have reportedly reached an advanced stage, according to Football Insider.
Phillips, whose contract with the Whites expires in 2024, was linked with a £ 60million move to Old Trafford this summer (according to the Daily Star).
Football Insiders ‘report claims that Leeds are hoping to get Phillips’ new deal signed before the January transfer window.
Sunshine criticized by Danny Blind
Solskjær has been slapped by Danny Blind, father of former Manchester United defender Daley Blind.
Ajax’s big explained how he found the Norwegian’s appointment to United strange and called Solskjær a ‘child of the club’.
Blind told the Daily Mail: “We can not say that Solskjær has had a long career with [the] top level as manager before United.
“Yes, he was a champion in Norway, but that’s a different level. I know why he gets more time than other coaches, he is a child of the club.”
Blind then added that Solskjær must change his tactics to suit Cristiano Ronaldo’s style of play.
“You are not going to change Cristiano [Ronaldo] further in his mindset and his approach to the game, “he said. So Solskjær will have to come up with a style of play for his team where Cristiano can still thrive and the team can still put their opponent under pressure. “
The Champions League winner in 1995 then said that the Norwegian must not be fired despite his explosive rant.
“Whatever you think of Solskjær as a manager, this is not the time to change,” he added.
‘Secret Haaland talks’ can pay off
United have previously been linked with a move to Erling Haaland, where Solskjær is rumored to have been in contact with his compatriot over a possible move.
It is unclear whether the club will restart their interest next summer – with Haaland’s release clause falling to around £ 66 million – but if they do, they could have just been given a massive boost.

Spanish outlet Marca reports that Borussia Dortmund striker is not convinced of a move to Real Madrid as he does not want to move to a club where he does not want to be the main man.
Kylian Mbappe is widely expected to move to Real when his deal with Paris Saint-Germain expires this summer, and his move could ruin any dream they have of bringing Haaland to the club.
