Orcas stops by to say hello

It looks like some orca are checking out the coastline around Metro Vancouver this weekend.

Two videos captured the huge dolphins checking out where people live this weekend. In a video posted by Jason King on Facebook, a couple is seen swimming around the boats in Horseshoe Bay. When they swim through, they send a little spray to the great delight of people nearby.

“It hit the boat,” one exclaims.

A dog sounds much less impressed.

Just last month, the small town north of Vancouver was visited by a pair of humpback whales.

Meanwhile, in Vancouver’s Coal Harbor, a pair of killer whales were recently seen in the rain visiting the ocean airport.

They swim only a few meters away from the quay and show up to see what is going on at the top.

It is unclear if it is the same pair.
