Windows 11 is here and it’s free to download for Windows 10 users.


Windows 11 launched its wide deployment last week, with Microsoft launching its new operating system and rolling out qualified devices on October 5th. The upgrade is already free for everyone using Windows 10. Note that Microsoft is rolling out the OS in phases, so your system may not show the ability to upgrade yet. A Microsoft blog post from August said the company expects “all eligible devices to be offered a free upgrade to Windows 11 by mid-2022.” Do not want to wait? However, if you are not in a hurry, the Windows 11 update will be pushed to your device at some point in the coming months, when Microsoft data indicates that the upgrade is ready for that device. Once the new operating system is available to you, the upgrade process will feel like a normal Windows 10 update, as long as your device is compatible and meets the minimum requirements needed. (And even if it does not, Microsoft will offer a solution, but your Windows 11 installation is not supported by the company.)

To see if your current Windows 10 PC is eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 11, you can check out a few different ways. And if you buy a new pc, this computer will also be eligible for the free upgrade.

If you have not updated to Windows 10 yet, do not worry – there is another trick free download of windows 10 that still works. Now would be a good time to switch to preparing your machine for the Windows 11 upgrade. This trick will be the same as you use if you want to manually upgrade an older machine to Windows 11, although Microsoft does not encourage you to do this as it may not be eligible for the same updates.

Windows 11 Installation Assistant: How to download Windows 11 without waiting


Some users may download Windows 11 in the same way that you would get a new version of Windows. Just go to Settings> Update and security> Windows Update and click search for updates. If it’s available, you’ll see it Feature update for Windows 11. click on Download and install.

Note, however, that Windows 11 rollout will be slow – it may take months before it is available on your device. New PCs will receive the upgrade first, and all compatible devices are expected to receive it by mid-2022, depending on the device’s age and hardware.

If the upgrade is not available to you yet, but you want to upgrade now, you have a few options. The best and simplest option is to download Windows 11 Installation Assistant. Choose race after the transfer to ensure that your hardware is compatible. Then Accept and install to accept the license terms and begin the installation. Once the program is installed, you will be prompted to restart your computer. Your PC may restart several times during the process of completing the installation, so do not worry. Just keep your PC until everything is done.

If you cannot use Windows 11 Installation Assistant, you have a few backup options, but be warned that these are more complicated. We strongly recommend that you consider waiting for the update to arrive on your device. If you are sure you want to continue, you can create Windows 11 installation media or an ISO file. What’s in Windows 11?

Windows 11 has a streamlined new design with pastel colors, rounded corners, a new startup sound and generally a more Mac-like look. That Windows Start menu has been moved from the bottom left of the screen to the center, with app icons arranged in the center next to it. You will find plenty of new desktop tools, like widgets that can give you a quick overview and easier virtual desktop creation. And Android apps integrate with Windows and can be installed from the Microsoft Store – even if that feature will not be available immediately. Windows 11: Hands-on with an early build


The update marks the first major change to Microsoft’s operating system since Windows 10 was launched back in 2015. Rumors of a major Windows redesign has been in circulation for the past year. At the Microsoft Build Developer Conference on May 25, CEO Satya Nadella said Microsoft planned “one of the most significant updates to Windows in the last decade”, confirming that there was a major shift in the horizon for the 1.3 billion users of the operating system in 2021.
