A WOMAN has been charged with attempted murder after a man was left fighting for his life after allegedly being beaten down in a hit-and-run smash.
The victim, aged in his 40s, was discovered Friday night with significant head injuries in Erdington, West Midlands.

He was rushed to hospital where he is still in critical condition.
Gina Brown, 44, has been charged with attempted murder and will appear in custody at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow.
She is also charged with driving while driving above the alcohol limit and failing to stop.
West Midlands Police confirmed the victim is known to Brown.
The force said: “We have charged a woman with attempted murder after a man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Erdington on Friday night.
“We continue to appeal to anyone who passed the Reservoir Road area around 10pm on Friday and may have information to contact us.”
