Three people have died in another weekend of violence in London.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to a series of incidents, including a triple shooting.

In one incident, a woman was stabbed to death on a public road in Primrose Hill, London.

Forest Gate Shooting – October 8th

Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the shooting is not being treated as a terrorist incident.

The three men were found with gunshot wounds on Upton Lane just before noon.

They were driven to the hospital and the A114 Upton Lane in Forest Gate was closed in both directions, with traffic queuing from Grosvenor Road to Whyteville Road.

One of the men was reported to be in a critical condition in the hospital, while the two others’ conditions have been assessed as non-life-threatening.

No arrests have been made at this time and police are asking witnesses to contact them by calling 101 quoting CAD 6941 / 08Oct.

Man dies after incident in Uxbridge – 8 October

Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the death of a man in Hillingdon, West London, on Friday night (October 8).

Police were called around noon. 20.44 to a disturbance in Hillingdon Road, Uxbridge.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service paramedics.

A 52-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Queries continue to determine the circumstances.

Two men and a woman were arrested at the address in connection with the incident. They have been remanded in custody.

Anyone with information or witnesses is asked to call the police on telephone 101, ref. 7960 / 08oct.

Met launch of homicide investigation in Orpington – October 9th

An investigation was also launched after a man was found dead in Bromley, South London.

Police were called around 11.45pm on Saturday (October 9) to an address in Chelsfield Lane, Orpington.

A woman in her 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.

Officers attended the London Ambulance Service and found the body of a 51-year-old man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man and the woman are believed to have known each other. No one else is wanted in connection with the incident.

The police investigation is led by detectives from special crime. Anyone with information that may help the investigation, please call 101, ref. 8549 / 09oct.

Woman stabbed to death in Primrose Hill – October 10

Police arrested a man after a woman was stabbed to death in Camden late Sunday night (October 10).

Rescue services were called shortly before 1 a.m. after reports of a disturbance at an apartment in Broxwood Way in Primrose Hill.

Police found a woman in her 30s who sustained stab wounds and administered first aid before paramedics arrived. Despite efforts by emergency services, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman’s family has been informed and an autopsy and formal identification will take place over time.

Officers have since arrested 40-year-old Jason Bell after appealing to the public for help finding him.

A tweet from the Met reads: “We had appealed for help locating Jason Bell, 40, who was wanted in connection with the death of a woman in Primrose Hill.

“He has been located and arrested on suspicion of murder. We ask that his image is no longer circulated.

“Our thoughts remain with the woman’s family.”
