Modern pan-Indian restaurant and bar in Haymarket welcomes exciting new dishes to their menu in front of Diwali

Farzi opened in Haymarket in January 2019 for critical acclaim, and this new menu continues to gain influence from around the world.

With 19 successful restaurants across the globe, including India, Dubai, Kuwait and Oman, Farzi Café promotes avant-garde food and complex flavors that reinvent Indian cuisine and revise preconceived ideas for nearly a decade.

Chef Nikhil Mahale previously worked under Michelin chef Vineet Bhatia, overseeing the kitchen team and bringing experimental Indian cuisine to the city.

The new dishes on the menu nod to Farzi Café’s global influence with small plates of tapas-style Avocado & Waffle Tokri, a waffle basket with avocado chat, raw mango carpaccio and lemon air, Bhuna Ged Tacos with pomelo and Zaffrani Murg Tikka with smoked cashew & saffron masala chicken scrapings and coriander pesto sit next to their signature dishes with Udupi Paneer Popcorn, Dal Chawal Arancini (Sicilian arancini balls made with dal & chawal) served with aachar, papad & chutney and juicy Laal-Mirch Tandoori Chops with three chilies –
yogurt and pickled onion salad.

Guests will also be able to try Farzi Café’s version of the much-loved street food classic Mumbai Vada Pav (fried potato bun in a bun with chutneys) along with their take on a Bao filled with butter chicken and green chili mayo.

Other places on the menu are larger dishes of Crab & Shrimp Dolma (steamed & stuffed savoy. Cabbage leaves), Lamb shank Vindaloo and Butter garlic Masala Main bread with Brussels sprouts, mustard & tamarind icing.

Desserts include coconut rice Kheer with passion fruit gel and mango sorbet and pistachio Tres Leche with pistachios
mousse & mandarin jelly.

At Farzi Café London, cocktails are a central focus, with award-winning Head Mixologist Din Jusufi creating a range of experience- and astrology-inspired cocktails influenced by India’s rich Ayurvedic past.
