Four people – including two teenagers – have died in a horrific car accident in Headcorn, Kent.

Police say they were called to Lenham Road in an accident involving a bronze Toyota Hi Lux.

Officers are now appealing for all witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to appear.

The road has been closed all day while investigations have been made.

A full statement said: “Kent Police were called at 12.54pm on Sunday 10 October 2021 following the collision in Lenham Road involving a bronze Toyota Hi Lux.

Officers participated along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service and four people aged 18, 19, 25 and 44 who were inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene.

“A 15-year-old boy who was also a passenger was taken to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Kent Police Series Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is investigating the circumstances and officers are appealing for all witnesses to be contacted

“Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has CCTV, mobile phone or dash camera footage, should call SCIU on 01622 798538, indicating reference SM / LB / 114/21”
