WASHINGTON DC. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that took place on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the 4200 block of Kansas Avenue, Northwest.

About kl. At 8 a.m., members of the fourth district responded at the listed location to report an unconscious person. Upon arrival, members found an adult male victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded on the scene and found that the victim did not show signs that were compatible with life. The victim remained on the scene until it was transported to the office of the chief physician.

The identity of the deceased is withheld pending the notification of relatives.
