If you’ve serious about photography and video, the compact, lightweight, 6K box-style LUMIX BS1H from Panasonic may very well be that camera.

Set for release in November, the 0.51kg BS1H has an alloy of aluminum and magnesium alloy that can easily balance on smaller gimbals. The availability of the camera also stands out.

With USB 3.1 Type C, 3G-SDI and HDMI Type A terminals, it will link to a range of accessories and can deliver simultaneous output. It also has a dual SD card slot for backup video recording or relay recording.

There is a 3.5 sound in / out and it is compatible with the XLR microphone DMW-XLR1.

It has a 24.2 megapixel 35mm full-frame sensor for greater depth of field, and with a range of shooting formats and frame rates, it captures up to 6K resolution.

The versatile device boasts cinema quality 30p 10-bit unlimited video recording, Dual Native ISO technology and excellent performance in low light, wide dynamic range with 14+ stops, V-Log and more.

ISO technology minimizes noise generation by selecting an optimal circuit for use according to the sensitivity before amplification. In combination with optimal signal processing, the maximum ISO 51,200 ensures highly sensitive recording with minimal noise.

It can also connect via Bluetooth 4.2 (BLE) and 2.4 GHz WiFi for file transfer or live streaming and remote control using application software.
