A search has resumed for an eight-year-old boy missing at a popular campsite on Western Australia’s rugged south coast.

The boy was last seen at his family’s campsite at Fernhook Falls, about 30 miles north of Walpole, at 9 a.m. yesterday.
Aircraft, police, state emergency services volunteers and family members searched the area of Mt Frankland National Park until low light slowed efforts at 1 p.m. 19.30.
Major Southern Inspector Kim Travers said crews restarted the search at 6 p.m. 6:00 today.
A cold front is expected to hit the region this morning, bringing showers and windy conditions.
Fernhook Falls is part of the Deep River with waterfalls and pools.
A man drowned in the fall in a fishing accident in 2013.
