Today, Apple released a number of new beta operating systems, one of which is macOS Monterey beta 10. One of Monterey’s biggest features is the redesigned Safari web browser. The new look has attracted a lot of attention and honestly many people hate it. One of the biggest problems was the placement of the favorite bar under the newly designed tabs. Now with Monterey beta 10, they’re back where they belong.
Our friend at Six Colors, Jason Snell, first discovered the change. The favorite bar is now located between the url bar and your tabs. With the change, your favorites will not be lost in your content if you use the new color coloring feature.
So far, there seems to be nothing else new with Safari in macOS Monterey. With the Apple event next Monday, this is likely to be the iteration that comes with the new version of macOS. Apple has continuously updated Safari throughout the beta cycle, with the biggest change being the ability to return to separate tabs from the url bar.
