Gotham City is coming to London.

Batman and crime have a brutal relationship. The latter begins (usually we look at you, Joker), and the former accuses of obliterating the guilty party and restoring order to Gotham City. This is how it has gone in the best part of 80 years, where the crusader with a cloak also found time to visit London this year, when the bat signal shone brightly over the great smoke.

Fast forward to 2022, Batman has planned his next trip out of Gotham City (can you really blame him? We’ve all missed our dear vacations over the last year and a half). You best believe in his vacation right back to the largest city in the world, with a brand new immersive Arkham Asylum experience that swings into London with the entire The Dark Knight on his batrope.

After more than 800 comics and 60 different movies, Batman has a new venture for all of us. From the fall of 2022, fans of the DC cartoon hero are invited to an interactive utopia inspired by the defender of Gotham City. Except there’s a problem here: Batman is missing, away on his journey; leaves Gotham City in pieces where crime is rampant.

Up to psychiatrist Jeremiah Arkham to fill the story and restore order to the fictional cityscape in this exciting new experience where citizens of Gotham are summoned to Arkham Asylum for psychological examination.

Arkham Asylum will give you a multisensory, futuristic and often relaxing alternative reality so that the audience can become the main characters in the narrative. Become your inner Batman as you channel The Dark Knight, and even meet famous faces like Scarecrow, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and more along the way.

Jessica Rees Middleton, CEO, Department Studios, Inc. said:There is no other place in the world where you can experience Gotham City this way. From the moment you purchase a ticket, through the DC characters you meet and the choices you make – every guest will leave this spectacular experience transformed and eager to return! We plan to drive immersive entertainment to a new level. ”

Arkham Asylum opens in autumn 2022 and will run weekly with tickets for £ 63.

Tickets are generally sold at 10 (GMT) on October 29, 2021 with an exclusive 48-hour O2 pre-sale at. 10 (GMT) on October 27, 2021 via the O2 Priority app followed by a 24-hour pre-sale to anyone registering via
