It’s no secret that there has been a lot of decline from restaurants on the Ford Government’s latest announcement. Several venues throughout the city have been given the green light to operate at full capacity. Not on the list? You guessed it. Restaurants.

But an anonymous source tells us this is changing because next week’s restriction will also be lifted for restaurants. Ever since the news from the government, many have taken to social media to express their disappointment.
Given that the F&B and hospitality industry have been some of the hardest hit during the pandemic, it is not surprising that many doubt the government’s intentions. While this is a good sign that bans are being lifted and normality is returning, it cannot help but look like restaurants are being designated.
We have no information on the policy of face masks or the rules of social distance. Many places already require proof of vaccination, so it is safe to assume that this will not change soon.
