The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect caught on camera firing a gun at a victim.

The offense took place Monday around 2:27 p.m., in the 2600 block of Benning Road NE.

The suspect fired a gun in the direction of the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera.
