Daniel Craig has revealed the interesting reason why he prefers to go to gay bars on a night out.
During a recent chat with Bruce Bozzi about SiriusXM’s Breakfast with Bruce podcast, the 53-year-old James Bond star said he is less likely to get into fights with “aggressive” straight men.
“I’ve been going to gay bars for as long as I can remember,” said Craig, who has been married Rachel Weisz since 2011, said. “One of the reasons [is] because I do not get into fights in gay bars so often.

“Because the aggressive dk swung in hetero bars, I just got very sick of it as a kid because it’s like I do not want to end up in a fight. And I did. It would happen quite a lot.
“I would not end up being in a punch-up. And I did, it would happen pretty much.”

That 007 star went on to say that a gay bar is “a great place to go.”
“Everyone was chill … you did not really have to disclose your sexuality and it was a very safe place to be. And I could meet girls there because there are a lot of girls there for exactly the same reason I was there. It was a bit of an afterthought. “
Craig’s comments came after he and Bozzi reflected on a time when they went to a gay bar in Venice, California back in 2010. The couple was photographed embracing outside the venue, prompting speculation about Craig’s sexuality.
“We got a little caught, I suppose, which was a little weird because we did nothing wrong,” Craig explained. “What happened is that we had a nice night and I talked to you a little bit about my life when my life changed and we got drunk and I was like, ‘Oh, fk, let’s just go to a bar, come on, let’s f — ing go out. ‘
“We were devastated for not doing anything wrong. And I was just like, ‘I don’t give a f-k’.”
