A tribute is paid to a woman who was found stabbed to death at her home in London.
Nicole Hurley was found with multiple stab wounds just before 1 a.m. Sunday in the upscale area of Primrose Hill.
The 37-year-old’s family says their “world has been turned upside down” after her death.
Hurleys have strong ties to Ireland, where Nicole’s grandfather Patsy hails from Killorglin in Co Kerry.
Patsy Hurley was a lifelong president of the Kerry Association London, Radio Kerry reports.
The station adds that the Kerry community in London has been “destroyed” by Nicole’s death.
After the mother of four children, Jason Bell, 40, has been charged with murder and false imprisonment in relation to a third party.
He appeared at the Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, the Met Police said in a statement.
Nicole’s brother Ryan said the world of the family has been “turned upside down”.
“Last night our world was turned upside down and changed forever, the impossible happened and we lost our beautiful sister,” writes the Mirror.
“We want to come together as a family, as we always do, and ensure that the four most amazing children have the best possible life.”
A GoFundMe site has been set up to help raise money for the broken family, with almost € 24,000 (£ 20,300) donated so far.
Brigitte Clements, who set up the fundraising site, said: “This weekend a tragedy hit our community.
“[Nicole’s children] tragically lost their mother in the most horrific circumstances. These children have been the heart of our society.
“They help carry groceries for you if they see you carrying bags. They offer to water your plants when you are away. They come and offer to help paint and repair when someone is busy picking. These children are not average.
“These children are extraordinary and it is a testimony to their incredible mother.
“They are bright, ambitious, curious and generous. They are four people who give you hope for what the next generation will bring.
“In one night, these children lost everything.
“The purpose of this fundraiser is to fully fund the funeral and the associated costs of helping this family through this difficult time. Whatever extra money we can raise, they will go to support these four incredibly incredible children in rebuilding their life.
“We can not change the past, but we can influence the future. Let us as a community come together and show our love.”
