An alleged victim of Tom Girardi has blown up his estranged wife Erika Jayne as they continue to await full payment of a settlement owed to them by his former law firm.
Kathleen Ruigomez, whose family still owes a full settlement to Girardi’s law firm after representing them when her son Joseph sustained injuries in a gas pipeline explosion, said it had become increasingly difficult to see Erika on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
In a speech to the New York Times, Ruigomez admitted that she wondered if Erika was spending their money when they saw her on the popular Bravo show.

Kathleen, who needs the money to pay for her son’s ongoing medical care, told the publication: ‘I do not worry about getting paid.’
‘The first couple of seasons we liked her, but then we started to get more and more worried about our money. Does she spend our money? Now she is very unhappy with the show, ‘said Ruigomez.
Ruigomez sees Erika as an attitude that blames her victims for her current circumstances.
‘It seems she almost has an attitude that we victims ruined her concert,’ she said.

Girardi represented the Ruigomez against Pacific Gas & Electric and won them a large, undisclosed amount after Joseph suffered burn injuries following a gas line explosion under his home in San Bruno in 2010.
The family appeared in a recent documentary exploring Girardi’s alleged financial misconduct, The Housewife and the Hustler, in which they recounted their experiences working with him.
‘We just did not know how much of a snake he was going to be along the way,’ Joe’s sister said on the program.

Girardi reportedly informed the Ruigomez that the court had given him a mandate to distribute the money to them in monthly payment plans.
However, a mediator for the trial dismissed Girardi’s monthly payment schedule claims as ‘false’. He also said he was ‘unaware of Mr Girardi’s actions.’
The Ruigomez subsequently sued him for the remainder of the settlement.
Girardi agreed to pay them the remaining $ 12 million in increments, but after the first installment stopped paying them.
‘It’s very disappointing to know that your lawyer basically stole you, knowing that he knows everything you’ve been through. I just do not understand, ‘Joseph remembered.
