Adele has one of the most incredible voices of this generation, and the singer has recently dazzled fans with her colossal return to music and dropped the new single Easy On Me last week.

The 33-year-old now lives in the US, and has amassed a fortune of several million pounds due to her endless hits like Someone Like You, Set Fire to the Rain and Hello.

The singer is now estimated to cost $ 177 million (£ 128 million) and is not exactly short of cash and owns only three properties in Beverly Hills.

The trio of homes is estimated to total about $ 29.5 million. (£ 21.4m) Worth it, but they are not Adele’s only wise investment on the real estate ladder.

She also owns properties in London, but her Knightsbridge home in her hometown is far away from her childhood.

Adele grew up in a working-class family in Tottenham, north London, raised by a single mother, Penny Adkins, after father Marc left them when the singer was just two years old.

When she was nine, Adele and her mother moved to Brighton for a short time before moving back to London in 1999.

They lived for a time in the Brixton district of South London before moving to West Norwood, where they lived until 2006.

In a video filmed by British Vogue, Adele lovingly recounts the home in West Norwood she shared with mother Penny and an apartment buddy, referring to the small apartment as “the best house I have ever lived in”.

In the video Ultimate British Taste Test, she explains how that particular home – located on the high street and above a discount store – is filled with fond memories.

The amazing star claimed that this home remembers its first memory of the desert Eton Mess.

She says: “I think my first memory of the Eton root would have been … I mean I grew up in north London in Tottenham, but we did a few years in south London when I was older.

“It was the best house I’ve ever lived in, it was with my mother.”

The star continued: “In fact, this house is always talked about in the press, as if it was like really run-down and stuff like that, because it was over what became a discount store, and all our little roof terraces were all connected.”

Her West Norwood apartment was home to Adele, her mother and an apartment buddy from 11 to 18 years old, and is believed to be the inspiration for her smash hit, Hometown Glory, which was released when she was 19 years old.

In an old interview when she was a teenager, Adele said, “Me and my mom and our roommate lived across a store next to a garage – it was fired a few months ago.”

As a child, Adele was “obsessed” with the Spice Girls, something she has often said in interviews time and time again.

Her room in the West Norwood apartment was something of a sanctuary for the girl group with walls covered in their posters.

An old snap sent by the star shows her in her childhood bedroom and draws a funny face in front of her several posters of the band.

Adele left the apartment at just 18 years old and moved to a lavish pillow in Notting Hill after receiving a life-changing record deal in 2006, just weeks after graduating from Brit School.

The discount store, formerly under Adele’s old home, has since been transformed into a pub called Knowles of Norwood.

They opened in 2015 and to celebrate the launch, they tweeted the star asking if she would come down for a pint.

“@Adele we’re opening a new pub on Thursday over your old apartment in West Norwood. See you at the bar for a pint?”, They said at the time.
