Riley Keough sends love to Dakota Johnson for having Coldplay dedicated the song Yellow to the late brother Benjamin Keough: ‘A beautiful surprise’

Riley Keough turned out to be moved after her good friend Dakota Johnson orchestrated a Coldplay tribute to her late brother.

On Saturday night at Audacy’s eighth annual We Can Survive concert, Chris Martin and his band dedicated the song Yellow to Benjamin Keough, who tragically died of suicide in July at the age of 27.

‘I was not ready for it, but it was such a beautiful surprise,’ the Zola actress wrote, thanking Johnson and her boyfriend.

The grandson of Elvis Presley acquired footage of the Coldplay frontman who performed Yellow to the crowd at the Hollywood Bowl and gave his brother a shout.

‘This is for our friend Benjamin Storm, no matter where you are right now, we’ll send this song all the way to you,’ Martin said in between verses.

On the one-year anniversary of his passing, she paid tribute to him: ‘Today has been a year without your little brother. I miss you infinitely every day. ‘

In honor of his memory, she also had her name ‘Benjamin Storm’ tattooed on her collarbone.

She said in an InStyle interview in June about coping with the loss: ‘I try really consciously to be present and not use anything like any kind of escape and be aware when I do.’

‘… I definitely have hard days, and all kinds of pain and suffering and all that. But I think when you realize that it’s part of it, and your expectation is not just to feel joy, it’s been a real shift for me to find those moments and things to smile about. ‘
