Part of Main Street near downtown Winnipeg has been closed in both directions while crews fight a fire in the 800 block.
The city says Main Street between Jarvis Avenue and Selkirk Avenue was closed in both directions, and crews are expected to be on site during the afternoon.
It is said that reports of the fire in the commercial building with several units started coming in at 07.43 on Sunday.

At least six fire trucks and a handful of other rescue vehicles were seen at the scene, and crews sprayed the building from the ground a well using air hoses.
The city says firefighters were also working to protect nearby buildings.
A firefighter was injured and transported to the hospital in stable condition, according to the city. Nearby units were evacuated, but no other injuries were reported.
The building is considered a complete loss and the city says heavy equipment must be brought in to tear down the structure. A nearby church also suffered smoke and water damage.
Damage estimates were not available and the cause is still under investigation.
