Police are looking for witnesses after a fatal collision on the A38 in Plymouth yesterday in which a man died.
The collision happened on the eastbound lane between Weston Mill and Manadon yesterday afternoon (October 26).
Officers were called around 2.15pm after the collision with a blue Mazda MX5 and a stationary Scania truck in a guard room on the A38 in a northbound direction just before Manadon.

Yesterday, a police spokesman said: “One person has sustained serious injuries and the eastbound lane has been closed while emergency services are present.”
It has now been confirmed that the driver of the car, a 22-year-old local man, sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.
Devon and Cornwall Road police teams attended the scene along with the South West Ambulance Service and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
The roadway was blocked for about seven hours for a forensic examination of the site and salvage of the vehicles. The road was reopened shortly after midnight.
Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are urging witnesses to report. They would also like to hear from anyone with relevant dash cam recordings.
