Manchester’s only Michelin-starred restaurant has just won another prestigious award.
Mana in Ancoats has been awarded four AA Rosettes, making it one of the best restaurants in the UK.
The famous Blossom Street company serves a menu of around 14 dishes at a cost of £ 185 per person. person.
It was one of only three restaurants to be recognized with four rosettes this year, accompanied by Forest Side in the Lake District and Tuddenham Mill in Suffolk.

The new Rosette Awards were presented this morning at a virtual ceremony.
Adam Reid at The French, the flagship restaurant at Manchester’s Midland Hotel, already has four rosettes that were handed out back in 2018.
Mana, led by chef Simon Martin, was praised for his ‘very technical’ cooking.
The AA inspector said: “Located on a cobbled street in Manchester, Mana has a minimalist look with high ceilings and panoramic windows.
“Dramatic dark wood tables are undressed, and an open island-style kitchen is populated by chefs who send out some very accomplished Nordic-influenced cooking.
“Multi-course menus deliver dishes that are highly technical, intelligent and masterfully designed to balance taste and texture, with fermentation and fire contributing to the skills.
“Expect to find the finest ingredients that support unpreserved caviar with acid and caramelized cream; a trimmed oyster with ice dill, English wasabi and soaked oyster leaf; ‘fillets’ of Devonshire mussel with garlic’ cooked for two months’; smoked Scottish sea trout with ‘ grafted ‘kernels and 100% outdoor farmed Dexter Beef with’ all the artichoke ‘.
“The sweet end of the menu brings wild fig-soft serving with marigold and fermented honey and ‘still hot’ donut with Islay whiskey cream.”
