WWE star Sheamus got his prediction spot for the Man United vs Liverpool match this past Sunday.

The beloved Reds fan guessed his team would win 5-0 and that was exactly what happened at Old Trafford.

The Irishman performed at the Los Angeles Colosseum with his colleague Drew McIntyre to promote the American network NBC’s coverage of the mega-matchup.

Sporting Liverpool’s away tops Sheamus and McIntyre, who supported United, shared some teasing ahead of the match.

Passionate as always, the 43-year-old shouted: “Let me explain something to you guys, you are going down today.

“Liverpool will take the three points and we will continue to win the Premier League!”

He added, “We’re going to fill these guys 5-0 today!”, Before McIntyre replied, “Not a damn chance!”

The Scot would be forced to eat his words as Liverpool opened the scoring early through Naby Keita before Diogo Jota doubled the lead less than ten minutes later.

The league champions in 2020 had only just begun when they cut through United’s defense at will.

Seven minutes before half-time, Mo Salah continued his fine scoring run and turned Keita’s low cross from close range.

The Egyptian doubled his lead in the first half break, making it 4-0 to Liverpool, and this marked for the first time that United were trailing 4-0 at half-time in the Premier League.

Shortly after the break, Salah would become the first Premier League player and just the second overall to score a hat-trick at Old Trafford, and he put in coolly after a delightful ball by Reds captain Jordan Henderson.

After the match, Sheamus posted a snap with McIntyre on Instagram and made fun of him after the result.

He wrote: “Savage time to #mypremierleaguemorning Cheers @nbcsportssoccer for having us. Still can’t find @dmcintyrewwe.”

Both wrestlers, who are former WWE champions, were drafted for SmackDown from Raw earlier this month and will be seen getting started on Friday night’s show.
