ACT has reported nine new cases over the course of 24 hours through Friday at 7 p.m. There are nine people hospitalized with the virus, five of whom are in intensive care, five of whom are in need of ventilation. The new cases bring the active total to 231, while the number of cases associated with this outbreak is now 1644. Meanwhile, the percentage of the eligible population now fully vaccinated has reached 92.3 per cent. 1133 negative tests were received within 24 hours until 1 p.m. 9 Saturday. NSW has today registered 236 cases of COVID-19 and three deaths as the number of cases continues to decline. The results were from more than 77,000 tests. Across NSW, there are 343 people with COVID in the hospital, 81 of whom require intensive care. Meanwhile, Victoria has recorded 11 deaths and a further 1355 cases in the 24 hours to midnight. More than 91.5 percent of Victorians have received one vaccination dose, while nearly 79 percent have now received two. It comes as Melburnians are expected to flock to the regions this weekend after the restrictions were eased at. 18.00 Friday.
