With hefty hardware like QHD + LTPO monitor, Tensor chipset and an impressive battery, Google’s Pixel 6 Pro looked like the company’s first solid entry into the smartphone market. But then users started reporting problems with the screen flickering.
There were reports that while you were partially pressing the power button, horizontal strips appeared on the screen.
Users may also have noticed small display artifacts when the device is turned off or when they try to activate the device with a light touch of the power button, but not enough to turn it on.
Google has now acknowledged the problem and insisted it is not a hardware problem. They say it’s a software bug that will be fixed in the next update scheduled to be available next month.
That update is also said to fix other bugs.
