The friend of a missing woman in California describes her as a “real friend” and a “you can trust.”
Natalie John, a longtime friend of Heidi Planck, who disappeared on October 17, told Fox News in an interview that she is a “sweet soul”.
“Heidi is generous,” John said. “Heidi is beautiful inside and out.”
Planck, 39, disappeared after leaving her son’s football game, which she attended with her ex-husband, Jim Wayne, on October 17.

John said Planck is the type who will give his friends a ride if they need one.
“If you need a ride, if you’m stuck somewhere, or you need a ride, she’s coming and pick you up, or you need a ride to go somewhere, she’s taking you there,” said John. “You know she’s extremely smart and, you know, just a very good person, but you know you have a lot of friends. Heidi was not one of those friends. She was a real friend, a friend you can trust. . “
John said she’s been friends with Planck since around 2008.
When John first heard that Planck was missing, she could not believe it.
“It was shocking and it took me a couple of hours to digest it and I couldn’t believe it. I was just lost for words,” John said.
However, John said she quickly got going and started coordinating with friends to find Heidi.
“I got started right away. I contacted all our friends, all the friends she knew,” John said. “It’s heartbreaking, but we got started.”
John told Fox News she wants Planck to know she’s not giving up on the search.
“We will not give up until we can hold you, we can hug you,” John said. “We love you, Heidi.”
“I want you to know that you have so many friends who love you. Friends that we have never met, that we have met now, and we all want to be friends. We’re a little stuck in this. But “We all love you. We love you. We want to see you,” John said.
“She left our son’s football game early,” Wayne told Fox News. “But she left early, and we really haven’t seen or talked to her since.”

Since then, Wayne said Planck has not contacted his work, family or friends.
“Nothing. I mean, no contact at all,” Wayne said. “No contact with her work, her friends, colleagues, family. Our 10-year-old son has a birthday next week that we share.”
Wayne said Planck’s dog was found in an apartment complex in downtown Los Angeles without any of her belongings.
