New eruption in Kamloops

Health authorities report a new COVID-19 outbreak at a long-term care facility in Kamloops.
Brocklehurst Gemstone was added to the list of outbursts Monday afternoon. According to Interior Health, there are two cases – a resident and an employee.
The only other ongoing outbreak in the city is at Overlander Long-Term Care, which has remained on 28 cases – 21 residents and seven employees – for a number of days.
Brocklehurst Gemstone was the site of an eruption between January and March. 32 people were infected and two died.
