Women ‘persecuted’ on the street by man performing ‘explicit sex act’ and hiding behind bushes

A couple of female pedestrians in Melbourne’s north-east have been hit by a man who allegedly followed them while performing an explicit sex act

Monday, Oct. 4, around 6 p.m., one of the women went to the Glengarriff Crescent in Montmorency.

The 49-year-old then noted that the man followed her and performed the sexual act.

She immediately ran away from him and found another woman walking nearby.

The couple then walked together along Wattle Avenue, but the man continued to follow them.

Police said he “occasionally” hid behind bushes while continuing to perform the sexual act.

The man then left the scene and was last seen near Baldwin Avenue.

The man was wearing a gray t-shirt, blue shorts and black shoes and has a tattoo on his right forearm showing three stripes.

Anyone with information has been urged to contact police.
