Porsche currently drives nine PECs worldwide; the only two others in North America are in Atlanta and Los Angeles, so there is certainly plenty of prestige in Porsche choosing Pickering.

The 20-acre PEC, located just east of Toronto, will be housed in the intriguing “Durham Live” development, which already boasts a casino; there are plans for a luxury hotel with more than 300 rooms, almost half a million square meters of retail space and a concert venue.
The Porsche Experience Center Toronto will offer a two-kilometer-long roadway open to both Porsche and non-Porsche owners; staff experts in Porsche driving instructors, who will supervise a variety of driving modules; host of current and historic Porsche exhibitions; and includes a café and Porsche shop.
Not surprisingly, the automaker plans to incorporate electric vehicle charging infrastructure into PEC to build on its existing Destination Charging program. The construction site and design will focus on leaving an environmentally responsible footprint with the aim of incorporating sustainable technologies.
“ Porsche is more than just a car. Porsche is a promise of a unique brand and product experience, and since its first opening in Silverstone in 2008, our Porsche Experience Center has been the best way to achieve this promise, ”says Detlev von Platen, Member of the Porsche Sales and Marketing Board .
PEC is intended to be open to visitors year-round, and is the first town iteration of its kind.
