Hailey Bieber has opened up about the moment she sobbed for her mother on the phone about the state of her marriage to pop star man Justin.
The 24-year-old model openly remembered that she said she “just can’t do it” anymore during a hard point in their relationship.
Speaking on the podcast In Good Faith with Chelsea & Judah Smith, she explained that she called her mother Kennya Baldwin while she was upset.
She said, “I remember I called her a few different times, one particular time, when we were in Brooklyn, and I called her, I cried, and I thought, ‘I just can not do this.’ There’s no way I’ll be able to do this if it’s going to be like this forever ”.
However, Hailey revealed that her mother – who has been married to father Stephen Baldwin for over 30 years – remained calm and insisted that the difficult phase would pass.
She said, “And I just remember she was so calm on the phone, and she said, ‘It’s over and you want to be well, and he’s getting well, and we’re here for you.’
The model went on to say that she did not feel she would have been able to get over the harsh area if it were not for the support of her family.
“And I feel like we just had a lot of support,” she continued. “I feel like if I didn’t have support, it would have been 10 times harder, and it was already the hardest part of my life at the time.”
Still, Hailey has said she’s glad she stuck with Justin, explaining, “I was in. I made a decision. I know for a fact that I’ve loved this person for a very long time, and now it would not be the time to give him up, I just would not do that to him.
“Imagine potentially leaving someone in the middle of the worst time of their lives. I’m not that type of person. So I would endure it no matter what the outcome should be.”
Justin has previously told about his mental health battle during the run-up to their wedding in 2018.
“I had experienced so many things in my life,” he said. “So many milestones and traveled the world and seen everywhere in the world. And I just came to a place where I was lonely and I just did not want to do it all alone.”
